Hudak, Shunk & Farine Co. LPA was founded in Akron, Ohio in 1987. Our firm is a globally active intellectual property law firm located in the heart of the Midwestern U.S. The firm specializes in all facets of patent, copyright, and trademark law. Our practice includes international development and licensing of intellectual property and domestic patent and trademark preparation, filing, prosecution and litigation.

Our firm represents and advises both U.S. and International clients located around the globe at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), U.S. Copyright Office (USCO), various U.S. courts, and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). We have an extensive network of associate law firms that allow us to support clients in many different countries.

Being a boutique firm, our practice is easily able to serve clients of various sizes, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to individual inventors and start-ups.
